Navigating adolescence: Embracing Ambiguity with Wired Therapy 🌌

The world is often perceived in black and white, but reality is far more nuanced πŸ‘Ž

Young people aged 11-18 face expectations from school, parents/carers, and society to act like adults, making pivotal decisions about their future careers prematurely 🀯

Simultaneously, they lack the autonomy to express themselves fully within a restrictive system. This leaves teenagers grappling with the ambiguity of their identity – no longer children, yet not quite adults, navigating the unknown 🌌

At Wired Therapy, we recognize the importance of providing young people with space to explore and understand this transitional phase πŸ”Ž

Our aim is to create safe environments where they can investigate who they are in the present. We support them in embracing the uncertainty and identifying their current interests, not just future career aspirations.

Their value and worth are valid in the present moment and will continue to be so in their evolving future selves 🫢

We’ll continue to advocate for young people and provide affordable virtual counselling and in-person therapy for them!
