Youth Empowerment in Mental Health: Max's Journey at Wired Therapy ๐ŸŒŸ

I frequently emphasize that young people actively contribute to their well-being journey. ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

One client, Max*, embodies this belief remarkably. Despite being under 18, Max independently sought help at Wired Therapy, without any guardian involvement. He found our budget-friendly mental health service through his own accord.

Facing financial constraints as a student with a part-time job, Max expressed an inability to afford our regular pricing, even with the sliding scale model.

Being transparent about our inability to provide free services, we negotiated a fair rate that honoured both sides of our therapeutic relationshipโ€”an aspect often underestimated. ๐ŸคŽ

We agreed on a fortnightly schedule at a manageable rate, enabling Max to afford the help they deserved. In therapy, Max thrived ๐ŸŒฑ.

This narrative powerfully illustrates Max's commitment to prioritize their mental health and make a long-term investment in themselves. I am immensely proud of their progress and the platform we've created for young people to flourish. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Itโ€™s so important for us it create affordable therapy options for Gen Z and affordable virtual counselling for those who are not able to join us in-person.
